About
Lawrence (Guido) Gurrera is a Western Pennsylvania native. He has lived in the City of Pittsburgh for more than 20 years. He cares deeply about his neighbors and community.
Guido has worked as a plaintiff’s lawyer for more than a decade and handled all aspects of a case, from investigation through trial. Previously, he was a partner at a prominent personal injury firm located in downtown Pittsburgh.
Guido started his own practice to continue helping clients navigate the complex legal system, seek the justice that they deserve. His main focus is to help people, and do it in a way that makes them feel comfortable, secure, and informed, so that they never feel like "just a number."

Ernest “Ernie” Simon

Ernie received his undergraduate degree from the University of Pittsburgh and attended
law school at Duquesne University. He is a veteran of the United States Army.
He has practiced law in Pennsylvania for almost 50 years in the Civil, Family, Criminal and Orphans divisions of the Court. During this time, he amassed a wealth of experience, expertise, and knowledge in several practice areas, including personal injury litigation representing plaintiffs and defendants; family law; insurance and commercial litigation; business matters; and a specialty advocating for persons with
mental health disabilities, including serving in the Orphans Court Division as a Review Officer presiding over cases.
Ernie frequently serves as panel chairman for Arbitration Hearings in civil cases with values up to $50,000. He also is a member of the Court Arbitration Planning Committee and is an advisor to the Orphans Court in matters involving metal health law.
Ernie has tried numerous jury, non-jury and arbitration cases to verdict and has a vast
knowledge of Pennsylvania law and legal procedure. As one former client said, “Having
practiced in Pittsburgh for many years, he knows the system and other lawyers
extremely well. [He is a] great representative.”
Ernie has taught classes with respect to the Mental Health Procedures Act to resident
doctors at Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic (WPIC), at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, and in the Graduate School of Social Work.
He also has instructed other attorneys in continuing legal education (CLE) seminars. He is a former Board Member of Mental Health America Legal Services and served as Chairman for the program, which provided legal representation for individuals with mental illness in Allegheny County through a staff attorney.
